About
About this journal
A semester-long reflection journal for AI 285. One entry a week, 16 in total, each ending with an explicit note about what the AI got wrong.
Who I am
My name is Aadithya Chandramouli, and I am a senior at Penn State University majoring in Computer Science.
I wanted to take AI 285 because it aligns closely with my interests in AI and its real-world applications.
Why I chose this format
I chose a website over a document because, from what I know, building and maintaining a website keeps things more organized and quicker to get to than a document would.
How I use AI responsibly
I believe using AI for day-to-day work is going to help me a lot. When I am building something, I usually put in my own ideas and effort first, and from there I ask AI how I can refine what I have and make it more efficient.
How this site works
Each week has its own entry with the same four parts: key learning moments, personal connections, challenges and growth, and a documented account of the AI tool used. Every entry closes with a Verification Nudge — one specific thing the AI got wrong or one thing that was changed after checking it against notes or course material.
Anything still marked as a placeholder is scaffolding, clearly labelled as such, and is not presented as a real account of a week. The semester finishes with a meta-reflection looking back across all 15 weeks.
